Facebook e HTC em dia de glória
Hoje Facebook e HTC acertaram em cheio. Acho que o produto apresentado por eles pode ter sim uma boa receptividade no mercado.
A notícia no entanto não é boa para o Google que agora terá o seu sistema Android servindo de laboratório para que, quem sabe num futuro próximo, tenhamos um smartphone solo do Facebook.
E em menor medida também perde a Samsung, que nos últimos tempos esteve ocupada demais em copiar a Apple e esqueceu de (ou não sabe mesmo) inovar.

Today Facebook and HTC nailed it. I think the product they offered together can be rather well received by the market.
The news however is not as good for Google that will have its Android mobile operating system serving as a laboratory for Facebook engineers.
And to a lesser extent also loses Samsung, which lately has been too busy copying Apple and forgotten (or do not even know) how to really innovate.

Mountain Lion, Facebook, And The Fall
This morning, Philip Elmer-DeWitt wondered if the lack of Facebook integration in the release build of OS X Mountain Lion is the result of a new rift between Apple and Facebook ala the Ping situation in 2010.
Jim Dalrymple was quick to point out something Elmer-DeWitt clearly missed:
Apple has said since WWDC that Facebook would be integrated with Mountain Lion in an update to be released this Fall. On it’s Web site, Apple was very clear that the feature would be “Coming Soon.”
Still, I was a bit confused when the review copy of Mountain Lion that Apple gave out did include Facebook integration. And the functionality seemed to work just fine, but Apple told me as well that the plan was still to release it in the fall. Why?

A gerência das postagens e demais ferramentas de colaboração no Google+ são infinitamente superiores às suas equivalentes no Facebook.

Diferentemente do Hangout do Google+ o Airtime utiliza o plug-in do Flash, algo que não me agradou muito.
Parece que a intenção com o IPO era de transferir as ações das mãos dos bancos e instituições para o pequeno investidor. Pelo volume negociado parece que deu certo mas o ganho pra quem adquiriu (caiu como um patinho?) ainda não compensou.
