The drum I’m trying to bang here is not that Google is a greedy competitor, but rather that Google is a greedy competitor that presents itself as anything but — as a sort of peaceful, whimsical, happy-go-lucky techno-futurist corporate utopian — and that rather than see this pose as absurd, many people, Googlers and Google users alike, buy it. Google Hangout video chats don’t work on AT&T cellular connections, but why?
Shades of last year’s FaceTime controversy show up at Google I/O

I’ve seen it before.
At least Apple clarified the situation during his keynotes. Google might as well copy this respectful attitude with users.

Cards on Google Now, cards on Google Glass. Cards everywhere?

Google seems to believe that it is a good idea to reduce the interaction with their products and services to these little virtual cards.

They spy on everything you do to try to predict what you will do next and display it in the form of cards.

It is reductionist, so this is stupid and dangerous in my humble opinion.

Cartões no Google Now, cartões no Google Glass.
